Sand and Time

A more detailed post to come but these are a few of my fav shots from a recent trip to Death Valley National Park. I was looking forward to visiting the mesquite sand dunes and they did not disappoint. Up at 5 am to arrive there in time for a sunrise experience, it was a magical location. The textures of the sand and the dunes were otherworldly and incredible to see before they were travelled on by other tourists. Except for a few other brave early morning photogs and visitors the only remnants were of the night and desert creatures making their marks along the dunes.
